Unijobs on behalf of our public sector client have a requirement for a Senior Project Manager to join their team in Dublin 9.
The duration of this post is 6 months with possible extensions thereafter.
This role will be based fully onsite in Dublin 9.
Working 35 hours per week, the successful candidate will be employed as an agency employee and will be paid an hourly rate of €43.29 based on an annualised salary of €79,056 and will accrue 30 days' annual leave per year and paid bank holidays.
**Must have previous experience working in a Healthcare setting** Role and Responsibilities: Working as part of our clients Laboratory Directorate, the Senior ICT Project Manager is expected to manage all aspects of a new Laboratory Histopathology module, possibly including initial scoping and planning stages, milestones, risks and issues in accordance with the standards, tools and methodologies.
Senior ICT Projects Manager will likely manage projects with significant budgets and strategic importance.
Senior ICT Projects Manager will be expected to report to a number of stakeholder groups including technical, clinical, senior management and end users.
Governance for this specific assignment will be as follows: Will report on a day to day operations to the Deputy CEO and CIO Will report strategic progress to the project steering group Will work with members of the above teams as necessary Expected to work with all stakeholders (including clinical consultants, scientists and administration) to deliver the requirements specification.
Experience: Must have: A track record of 5+ years successfully managing the delivery of large scale project(s) within a medium - large scale organisation, preferably for a Health Service Organisation, and this must be clearly demonstrated in the submission.
Must have a clinical background with 3+ years' experience working in a Healthcare setting.
(Laboratory experience would be an advantage) Understanding of testing cycles in regards to implementing a digital laboratory solution.
Proficiency in MS Project must be demonstrated.
Experience of budget planning, financial management and resource management processes Advantageous to have: Technology experience in IT remote control solutions environments and solutions delivery Business Competencies: Displays leadership, high level of communication and interpersonal skills including liaising with multiple stakeholders.
Excellent ICT, presentation and report writing skills.
Ability to work with the other ICT units to ensure that ICT programmes are delivered in a cohesive and planned manner.
Demonstrate experience in working collaboratively with stakeholders and partners to ensure that the impact of projects are maximised.
Demonstrates evidence of strategic management skills including service planning, managing own work and that of others, delegating appropriately within the resources available.
Demonstrate ability to implement and manage change and business process re-organisation skills.
Displays a commitment to achieving quality results including experience in evaluating the provision of services.
Demonstrates good problem solving, analytical and decision making skills.
