Colton Motors is currently looking to recruit for an experienced Valeter to join our talented team at our Tullamore location.Key duties & Responsibilities.Wash and valet cars to the highest industry standards.Be responsible for the condition and presentation of all units.Inspecting cars prior to hand-over and liaising with sales.Be responsible for keeping our sales pitch/yard/displays up to standard.Ensure all damages are reported to management to carry out repairs.Liaise with sales to plan and prioritize jobs.Carry out valeting/interior detailing; shampooing seats/carpets/mats/roof-liners/etc, cleaning and detailing vents/glass/plastics/etc.Carry out paint correction/machine polishing to remove imperfections/scratches/etc.Carry out touch ups (wet sanding and general knowledge of paints a bonus).Dressing/protection of all interiors and exteriors, using products such as coatings/waxes/etc.Providing feedback to management on what products/tools/supplies are needed to replenish, etc.Ensure valeting bay is clean and tidy.Keep work areas clean and tidy, organised, and safe from hazards in accordance with health and safety guidelines.Successful candidate will also be expected to carry out a general operative role when needed (attending NCT's/VRT's/driving cars to and from suppliers/deliveries/etc.The successful candidate will ideally:Have a minimum of 3 years previous valeting/detailing experience.Hold a full, clean, and current driving licence.Take 100% pride in their work and have a meticulous attention to detail.Be honest, trustworthy, reliable, and conscientious.Have the ability to work under time pressure and meet agreed deadlines.Exhibit good communication skills.Be flexible in their approach to work.IMPORTANT INFORMATIONWe value and thank you for your enquiry.
