What's the opportunity? We're looking for a highly skilled and creative Video Producer to join our Audience Engagement team, reporting to our Senior Manager of Advocacy and Community Marketing. This role is crucial to our content strategy, bringing to life insights, opinions, and educational content from Intercom and its customers across multiple formats. You'll bring a mix of creative curiosity, natural storytelling and technical expertise, using your skills in scripting, editing, and video production to create high-quality content.
Our team produces videos for platforms like LinkedIn, Instagram, X, YouTube, and our Academy, ensuring content is relevant, engaging, and tailored for both long and short formats as required.
Note: this person will not be required to be on camera themselves, but will need to work closely with those who are.
What will I be doing? Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders across teams to assess requirements and deliver to a brief, ensuring the final product aligns with the original material and the platform it's designed for. Video Production: You'll be comfortable owning an end-to-end video production process, including shooting high quality video & audio, and the editing of company, customer and product videos. Video Editing: Utilize Adobe Premiere to produce and edit live-action and product videos. You'll also be comfortable working with mobile-first platforms like Descript or Kapwing for social-specific content. Motion graphics: Ability to create basic motion graphics in After Effects for engaging video content. Design & Brand Alignment: Have an eye for good design, with the ability to work within our Creative Studio team's design systems or independently create visually appealing content that aligns with our design standards. What skills do I need? Experience: 3-5 years of experience in video production, ideally in a fast-paced environment (B2B / B2C SaaS experience is a plus). Software Skills: Proficiency in Adobe Premiere is required. Experience with Photoshop or similar image editing software is required. After Effects experience is a plus. Familiarity with mobile editing tools like Descript or Kapwing is highly desirable. Familiarity with design tools such as Figma or Illustrator is also useful. Marketing fluency: Strong storytelling proficiency and ability to spot the hooks which will work to create engaging video edits from longer source material (think trailers for podcast episodes). Technical ability: Ability and willingness to learn new products to keep up with the expectations of a role in digital marketing. Team Player: Collaborative approach with excellent communication skills, able to work with cross-functional teams to meet project goals. Benefits We are a well treated bunch, with awesome benefits! If there's something important to you that's not on this list, talk to us! :)
