This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Private Equity and Real Estate Funds professional to join a mid-sized/boutique operation who are experiencing significant growth on the PE side of their business.
You will support the Head of Private Equity to plan and design the strategy for the private equity and real estate service lines, creating a standardized approach to their service offering.
Responsibilities:Manage and prepare the client service strategy.Responsibility for the Private Equity and Real Estate Fund Accounting teams.Serve as the main point of escalation for a number of Private Equity & Real Estate clients.Develop relationships with all client contacts including investment professionals, investors, lawyers, auditors, and banking personnel.Assist in the business development process and ensure that operational capabilities meet client expectations.Oversee preparation of quarterly Management accounts for each structure, capital call and distribution calculations, and Investors Capital Statements.Understand, prepare and review waterfall calculations.Coordinate annual fund audits.Enforce adherence to department procedures, service standards, and specified deadlines.Idea generation and ongoing assessment and improvement of operational service model.Job Requirements:10 years+ Fund Accounting experience with 5 Years + at VP/Manager level.Proven success leading a team within the Private Equity or Real Estate administration space.A highly successful record of delivering large scale business/technology reengineering initiatives in the private equity, hedge funds, and fund of funds businesses.Strong leadership skills and supervisory experience of other professionals.Project management skills with attention to detail and proven ability to multi-task.
