Position Overview: We are currently seeking an experienced Steel Erection Foreman to join our team on a large-scale construction project in Dublin.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in steel erection and a proven track record of leading teams on-site, ensuring work is carried out to the highest standards of safety and quality.
Key Responsibilities: Oversee and coordinate all aspects of steel erection on-site, ensuring the smooth and efficient progress of projects.
Lead, supervise, and manage a team of steel erectors, ensuring the highest quality of workmanship.
Ensure all site activities comply with health and safety regulations and company policies.
Monitor project timelines and budgets, ensuring work is completed on time and within scope.
Liaise with project managers, contractors, and other personnel to ensure seamless communication and project flow.
Ensure materials and equipment are available as required for the completion of steel erection activities.
Requirements: Proven experience as a Steel Erection Foreman or in a similar supervisory role.
Strong knowledge of steel erection methods, techniques, and safety standards.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and project specifications.
Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
Valid CSCS or equivalent certification for steel erection.
Experience with crane operations and lifting equipment is an advantage.
Full driving license.
Experience working on large-scale construction projects is preferred.
