Warehouse And Transport Supervisor €45K Dublin

As a Warehouse and Transport Supervisor, you will be responsible for the efficient operation of both warehouse and transport activities.
You will oversee the daily management of warehouse staff, coordinate transport logistics, ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment, and maintain high standards of safety and compliance.
Key Responsibilities: Supervise and lead warehouse and transport teams to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
Coordinate and schedule transport activities, including route planning, driver assignments, and vehicle maintenance.
Oversee the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods, ensuring inventory accuracy and proper stock management.
Monitor and manage the performance of warehouse and transport staff, providing training, guidance, and support as needed.
Implement and enforce health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
Maintain effective communication with internal teams, drivers, and external customers to ensure timely deliveries and resolve any issues.
Prepare and maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation related to warehouse and transport operations.
Optimize processes and workflows to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction.
Manage the maintenance and servicing of warehouse equipment and transport vehicles.
Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards.
Requirements: Previous experience in a similar role within a warehouse or distribution environment, with experience in transport logistics.
Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and multitasking abilities.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to liaise effectively with drivers, warehouse staff, and clients.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and familiarity with warehouse and transport management systems.
Knowledge of health and safety regulations and compliance standards in a warehouse and transport setting.
