The working week will be Monday to Friday & the right candidate will be expected to grow the team and business as required to grow their career.

Responsibilities: Ensure Warehouse operatives follow operational processes and procedures, comply with Company policies and work effectively as a teamEnsure staff follow Company Policies and Procedures, communicate effectively with staff as directed by the Managing Director.Conduct competency & efficiency reviews for all staff in line with policy.Address staff grievances and any disciplinary matters in line with policy.
Absence management in line with policy.Responsible for all warehouse recruitment.Ensure adequate skillset exists across all warehouse functions; identify knowledge gaps and promote internal training where relevant and necessary.Work with the team in scheduling the workload and in rostering the staff for the business peaks and summer holiday period.Responsible for small team of delivery drivers (and vehicles) who are tasked with completing daily delivery schedules and ensuring daily vehicle checks are completed.Arrange for the provision, maintenance, and repair of equipment in line with policy; Ensure an excellent standard of housekeeping is maintained throughout the facility.Ensure compliance to GDP standards.Ensure compliance to WDA in line with current HPRA regulations & license .Maintain training records for all personnel.Manage Health & Safety locally; Conduct and review risk assessments of all activities in line with policy;Ensure full compliance with all group H&S policies.Requirements: A minimum of 5 years' experience in a warehouse supervisory or management role.Strong people management, organizational & interpersonal skills.Background knowledge of HR & employment law.Knowledge of Health & Safety regulations.Third level qualification would be desirable.Ability to work well under pressure, delegate and effective time management are all key skills for this role.
