Warehouse Manager

Warehouse Manager required for Arklow, Wicklow Duties & Responsibilities: Work closely with the Head of Logistics to handle all aspects of the running of a busy warehouse Managing and co-ordinating warehouse activity according to changing needs and the tasks in hand Maximising warehouse performance - Hiring, Efficiency, Motivation, Discipline Supporting and helping the supervisors and general operatives whenever required Supervising and supporting health and safety procedures, including maintaining a clean and tidy work place Ensuring warehouse staff are fully trained for the tasks performed Monitoring of Stock SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE: Track record of people management Excellent work ethic hands on approach Energetic & enthusiastic approach to tasks Leadership and relationship building skills Fast learner with strong communication skills Strong problem-solving focus and understanding of cost control Experience of goods in and goods out, Ideally in FMCG environment Prior experience of scanning systems, knowledge of voice picking systems an advantage Good working knowledge of warehouse systems Skills: Warehouse Manager Manufacturing Production
