I am looking to speak with experienced and motivated Warehouse Operations Managers in the West Cork / Kerry area as my fast growing client seek to hire a new Manager to spearhead their operation.
This position requires a leader with strong organizational skills, a proactive approach, and a focus on continuous improvement.
The Warehouse Operations Manager will be responsible for managing all warehouse activities, including receiving, inventory management, order fulfillment, and ensuring a safe and efficient workplace.

Key Responsibilities Operational Management: Plan, organize, and manage the day-to-day warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, order picking, and dispatch.
Monitor inventory levels to ensure accuracy and availability, minimizing stock discrepancies.
Develop and implement operational policies to improve workflow efficiency and reduce costs.
Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of warehouse staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management.
Foster a positive and productive work environment that encourages teamwork and professional development.
Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure all warehouse operations comply with company policies and legal regulations, especially in regard to health and safety.
Conduct regular safety inspections and implement corrective actions to address potential risks.
Quality Control: Oversee quality control processes to ensure that all outbound products meet company standards.
Investigate and resolve any inventory discrepancies and address issues related to damaged goods.
Inventory Management: Manage inventory control procedures to maintain stock accuracy and minimize discrepancies.
Collaborate with the purchasing team to maintain optimal stock levels and support demand forecasts.
Process Improvement: Analyze operational data to identify areas for improvement and implement initiatives to increase efficiency.
Collaborate with other departments, such as sales and customer service, to streamline order processing and improve customer satisfaction.
Key Requirements Experience: Proven experience in a warehouse management or operations role, with at least 3-5 years in a similar position.
Familiarity with inventory management systems and warehouse management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle WMS).
Skills: Strong leadership and team management abilities.
Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and time management skills.
Knowledge of health and safety regulations in a warehouse environment.
