Purpose of the Role   As a result of our rapid growth, Keeling's Flowers are looking for warehouse operative - goods in to join our expanding team to help with the production and supply of Flowers / Plants nationwide.
The purpose of the role is to cover goods in shifts when required.
This is a forklift role with warehouse responsibilities covering management of warehouse goods in on a 24/7 basis.
The employee will be required to work on a forklift truck and work with the warehouse team members to achieve our business goals and objectives on a continuous basis and always seeking and implementing ways to improve, promoting Teamwork and interdepartmental collaboration.
Main Duties/Responsibilities   Working with other departments to ensure stock is tipped and booked in on time and within the agreed procedures.
   Review daily goods in schedule and produce put away plan to agree with timelines, ensuring roster is in line with capacity plan.
   Ensure tipping and put away times are in line with daily targets.
   Ensure all inbound returns, crates and pallets are booked in correctly.
   Keep the workplace and work practise safe, clean and hygienic - Support the reduction of lost time incidents.
   Comply with health and safety standards.
   Sustain compliance standards (Team/Environment), for all Daily and customer Audits.
   To ensure accurate and timely booking in of good inwards.
   Work efficiently with goods in QC.
   Work efficiently with Transport, Production and other departments to ensure smooth running of the supply chain.
   Attend meetings as required for the area.
   Excellent communication with team to understand goals and targets on a continuous basis.
   Coaching and development of Goods In members.
   Drive performance of the team and line to maximise efficiency.
   Team and individual performance management.
   KBSII, Microsoft System use.
   Support other warehouse functions as required by manager.
  To actively promote health & safety standards, engage in implementing health and safety protocols, and contribute to a risk-free work environment for all, playing a crucial role in mitigating workplace risks and promoting the well- being of all team members.
Key Skills & Knowledge   Essential :    Very good organization skills    Can do' Pro-active attitude    Resilience, team work    Microsoft Office    Excellent command of english language (written and verbal)    Good standard of numeracy    Excellent communication skills    Ability to prioritize and multitask    Excellent adherence to Health and Safety Desirable:     Previous Team Leading experience preferable;    Capable of developing to the next level    Success driven; Education & Qualifications: Leaving Cert Excellent command of the English language (written and verbal) Own transport required Hours of work: 40 hours per week Keelings Values People Matter  - We support and treat each other in a clear, fair and respectful way.
