Warehouse Operative/Van Driver

TJ O' Mahony, Unit 3 Lime Drive, Ladytown, Naas, Co. Kildare, W91 P682, part of the Home Project Centre Sales td., Ireland, the largest independently Irish owned Builders Providers/DIY business in the country, is looking for a Warehouse Operative/Van Driver to join our team.
  Job Purpose: Warehouse Operative/Van Driver.
Duties and Responsibilities: Pick and complete sales orders, wrap deliveries, complete warehouse paperwork for each dispatch.
Unload, record and put away of stocks and deliveries Ensure all Health and Safety standards are always adhered to in line with Company policy.
Load and unload lorries in a safe and efficient manner Move and stack materials Using correct manual handling techniques.
Perform general warehouse duties in order to maintain a smooth operation Checking that finished product packs are closed/sealed properly and that labels are in the correct position Delivering product to customers by van may also be a requirement of the position.
Ensure all PODs are signed and returned to the office on time.
Complete daily vehicle and load checks and report any incidents on the day.
Multi drops and Branch to Branch runs.
Driving long and/or short distances.
Planning delivery schedules and routes with the Branch Manager.
Handling freight in a safe, efficient manner.
  Requirements: Full Clean Driving License.
Display excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
Excellent time keeping.
Be highly motivated and can work to set deadlines.
Team player with ability to work on own initiative.
Good road knowledge and of surrounding areas.
Written, oral and communication skills.
