Warehouse Operator – 4 Cycle Shift Job Description The Warehouse Operator will ensure the safe and efficient handling of materials and finished products to support production processes. This role includes accurate reporting of material data, maintaining system integrity, and strictly adhering to relevant procedures. The operator will also be responsible for general housekeeping in their work areas and reporting any issues as necessary.
Requirements: Previous experience in a manufacturing setting. A valid, clean driving license. Certifications for operating Counterbalance and High Reach Forklifts. Strong knowledge of plastics, medical devices, IQMS (or similar systems), and general warehousing duties in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with staff at all levels. Ability to work independently with strong initiative. Capable of identifying and reporting production and safety issues to the Manager. Proficiency in identifying and resolving system issues during daily/night shifts. A good level of computer literacy is required. Responsibilities: Maintain safety and housekeeping standards in line with cGMP and company/customer requirements. Support and uphold compliance with ISO 13485 and ISO 14001 standards. Load and unload goods and finished products. Implement all relevant procedures for the receipt of materials and packaging, as well as the movement of finished goods to designated areas. Ensure system integrity through real-time monitoring and reporting to the supervisor each shift. Properly segregate waste materials according to company procedures and report any violations. Verify that the correct materials are used in each location/work center per shift, addressing and reporting any discrepancies. Present finished goods to the warehouse in compliance with cGMP and customer-specific procedures. Ensure seamless shift handovers by passing on reports and information to the manager and colleagues. Accurately maintain material balances from production and log them into the system (IQMS).
