The Warehouse Supervisor will oversee all warehouse operations within the company, including the management of goods inward and outward, ERP system utilization, resource planning of containers, warehouse storage planning, housekeeping, safety checks, weekly stock counts, and the management and escalation of quality issues or concerns related to raw materials or finished goods.
Key Responsibilities: Goods Inward and Outward: Supervise the receipt, inspection, and storage of incoming raw materials.
Oversee the dispatch of finished products to ensure timely and accurate delivery.
Maintain accurate records of all goods movements.
Collaborate with supply chain and other departments to ensure seamless processes are followed.
ERP System Management: Utilize the ERP system to manage inventory, track shipments, and monitor warehouse activities.
Ensure data accuracy and integrity within the ERP system.
Train warehouse staff on ERP system usage and best practices.
Resource Planning of Containers: Plan and coordinate the allocation of containers for storage and transportation.
Optimise container usage to maximize efficiency and reduce costs.
Monitor container inventory and ensure availability for operations.
Warehouse Storage Planning: Develop and implement efficient storage solutions to maximize warehouse space.
Ensure proper labelling and organization of inventory.
Conduct regular audits to maintain storage accuracy and orderliness.
Assist with stock counts, reporting and recording.
Manage the bin location process and ensure al material locations are kept up to date and accurate.
Housekeeping and Safety Checks: Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
Conduct regular safety checks to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Implement and enforce housekeeping and safety policies.
Weekly Stock Counts: Conduct weekly stock counts to verify inventory levels.
Investigate and resolve discrepancies in stock counts.
Report stock count results to management.
Quality Management: Monitor the quality of incoming raw materials and escalate any issues or concerns.
Collaborate with the quality assurance team to address quality-related problems.
Implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence of quality issues.
Qualifications: Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in warehouse supervision, preferably in the recycling or manufacturing industry.
(Preferred) Experience with ERP systems and inventory management.
Skills: Strong organizational and planning skills.
Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
Proficiency in ERP systems and warehouse management software.
Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
