Fonthill/ Dublin 22 vacancy for an experienced Warehouse Team Leader working day shift.
Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, the candidate will work as part of a dedicated team supporting our customers requirements.
The pay rate begins at €16.27, this is negotiable based on experience.
The candidate will be responsible for the management of the day to day teams activities and leading a team of operatives.
Essential Responsibilities: Supervision of the fulfilment team to ensure that all customers are serviced in line with Fulfilment SLA Adjust daily work schedules to meet fulfilment demands as dictated by customer Provide team leader support for across all functions within the warehouse operation when required Manage inventory accuracy through monitoring of daily warehouse activities and cycle counts Provide leadership by establishing clear expectations and demonstrating high standards of work practices People management responsibilities including training, planning and assigning daily work Maintain Time and Attendance system, holiday planning Recommend measures to improve quality of service and increase efficiency of department Continuously improve fulfilment operations through the use of lean enterprise practices Manage process and material flows to maximize utilization of the warehouse Maintain and promote the highest standards of health and safety throughout theoperation Maintain and promote standards to the highest level within the department through the involvement of all team members Other ad hoc duties as required.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Prior knowledge of operations and warehouse management Experience using SAP would be a distinct advantage Current Reach Truck & Counterbalance licence is desirable Previous experience in a supervisory capacity in a distribution/Fulfilment environment Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Strong attention to detail, with the ability to multi-task if required Works well under pressure Quality awareness Excellent time management Although it is not possible for us to respond to all applications, we at PE Global will do our upmost to give you feedback on your application.
