Warranty Manager Our client based in Dublin West is a global manufacturer and distributor of capital equipment in Ireland supplying to the construction, agricultural and industrial industries.
Responsibilities: Work closely with the Warranty Department in Head office to ensure the claims are presented in a timely manner and with good job descriptions and service write ups.
Work as part of the Service Team to ensure timely and detailed reports to assist making the claims.
Liaise with the Service Manager to ensure claims are getting approved.
Assist in annual warranty reviews and audits.
Track and provide monthly reporting on all claims and queries.
Role requires liaising with the Service Engineers as they are the ones on site dealing with service issues.
Ability to motivate service and admin colleagues.
Requirements: The ideal candidate will have worked as Warranty Manager or Service Manager in the relevant industry.
Have a good knowledge of plant and machinery and be mechanically minded.
Have a good knowledge of computer systems and be able to use Microsoft and Excel.
Good service skills and technically and mechanically minded.
Needs to have good communication skills as will be dealing with the Service Manager, Parts Manager and the Service Engineers.
Computer literate, Excel, Word.
