Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator

Job description WWTP operator manages the effluent plant and reports all issues and performance of the WWTP to site Environmental officer or Group Environmental Manager, Work activities Knowledge of operating a wastewater treatment plant an advantage.
Running and maintaining WWTP equipment.
Taking samples as per EPA licence.
Ensure compliance with site licence.
Liaise with Group Environmental on day to day issues as they arise.
Work with Group Environmental to update environmental procedures, manuals and record forms to continually improve the impact of the organisation on the environment.
Complete daily, weekly and monthly paperwork as per EPA requirements Coordinate all aspects of pollution control, waste management, recycling, environmental health, conservation and renewable energy.
General House keeping of Site and WWTP Experience in ISO 14001 & 50001 an advantage.
Good communication skills Training will be provided for the correct candidate across all areas.
