Web Developer

We are seeking an experienced Web Developer to work with our technical team to develop innovative Emergency Response tools.
This project won the overall prize in the Science Foundation Ireland - Defence Organisation Innovation Challenge competition and focuses on providing a comprehensive digital Common Operational Picture to support Responders in managing Emergency Events such as Wildfires.
The successful candidate will have an excellent primary degree and ideally a postgraduate degree with significant web platform systems expertise required to support the application design and development aspects within the DecaMap work-programme and supporting technical leadership.
This specific role within the team will apply the candidate's knowledge of web geospatial technologies to the development of robust mapping and monitoring applications.
Technical Officer (2024) Salary Scale: €45,652 - €50,214 (Points 1 – 3)
Appointments will be made in accordance with public sector pay provisions.
