Wood Machinist

Wood Machinist Excel Recruitment is recruiting a Wood Machinist for our client in South Dublin who specialise in high-quality woodworking and custom joinery projects. This person will become part of a successful team which produces bespoke joinery items for a number of high-end clients across Ireland. This position would suit an experienced Wood Machinist or Joiner who would like to take on a new challenge working on exclusive projects. Responsibilities: Operate and maintain woodworking machinery, including saws, planers, routers, and CNC machines. Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications to produce accurate components. Select appropriate materials and tools for each project. Ensure precision and quality in all machining processes. Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting of machinery. Work collaboratively with the joinery team to meet project deadlines and specifications. Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety regulations. Perform quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet the required standards. Requirements: Proven experience as a Wood Machinist in a joinery or similar setting. Proficiency in operating various woodworking machinery. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
