Workplace Solutions - Settlements Analyst

As a Settlements Analyst in Workplace Solutions, you will be a prominent point of contact both internally and externally. This role demands good communication and a desire to deliver exceptional client service.

Job Responsibilities: Manage the settlement of all transfer requests associated with the trading team. Process all SWIFT messages between Global Shares and partner custodian and brokers relating to transfer requests. Detail and document workflow procedures to include MiFID II compliant changes as recommended by Global Shares Compliance team. Report and escalate any issues/mis-matches which arise as a matter of urgency. Support the trading teams on a daily basis as well as assist in identifying new system tools and enhancements to existing systems. Act as a point of contact, as part of a team, for all transfer related matters. Create and maintain excellent relations with key business partners while promoting Global Shares to both clients and partners. Required qualifications, capabilities and skills: Excellent communication skills. Numeric literacy and good attention to detail. Strong computer skills including Microsoft Excel and Word. Demonstrate commercial acumen with an ability to be innovative & pro-active. Ability to prioritise and adhere to tight deadlines. Highly motivated and organised with an enthusiastic and flexible approach to work. Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills: Previous experience working in a regulated environment. Third level degree in Business/Finance or equivalent experience preferred. A basic knowledge of Equity Industry.
