Workspace Facilities Technician Overview The Workspace Facilities Technician holds the day-to-day operational responsibility for the delivery of AV and FM services across the client floors. This is a hands-on role, specialising in AV, that will require a varied skillset including event support, portering and room setup, ad hoc facilities and minor maintenance tasks. The individual will ensure the client space operates as smoothly as possible, so the client's employees are not distracted from their own work by having to deal with premises and building-related issues.

Personality & Competency Excellent verbal and written English.Ensuring high-quality audio and video output.Self-motivated.Willing and able to learn on the job embracing new challenges as the role demands.Be the go-to person for the client and wider staff body.Always being approachable, friendly & helpful.Professional with a strong service-driven mentality and a pragmatic approach.Commitment to the highest standards of customer service.AV Responsibilities Setting up microphones, speakers, soundboards, and other audio devices.Installing and configuring projectors, screens, video monitors, cameras, and video conferencing systems.Setting up and programming stage lighting and effects.Operating soundboards, video equipment, and lighting during live performances, presentations, or broadcasts.Ensuring that all equipment works smoothly for high-profile meetings and presentations.Diagnosing and resolving technical issues that arise during day-to-day operations or during an event or session.Working with clients or event organizers to understand their AV needs.Understanding the technical aspects of audio, video, and lighting equipment.Using software for video editing, sound mixing, or live streaming.Setting up and managing networks for AV systems, especially in environments where live streaming or remote presentations are involved.FM Duties Daily floor checks and meeting room checks to include AV; any issues reported immediately to the Site Managers and logged on the CAFM system.Liaise with and coordinate Floor Champions on site to maintain client requirements.Conducting floor walks to monitor and manage housekeeping and cleanliness standards.Weekly and monthly reporting to the Account Manager.General Duties Active management of communal storage areas, including all kitchenettes.Set up and derig of event & meeting spaces at the request of the client FoH team, moving furniture and equipment.General sweep & search of building to ensure everything is in working order, with no security issues.Light maintenance duties, e.g., changing lights, repairing door handles, etc.First aid and fire marshal duties - training provided.Willing to step up and fill any duties assigned by the site manager, including reception cover or support on an ad hoc basis.Operates in a pro-active manner that supports the workspace team to anticipate customer needs.Maintains and promotes strong customer relationships with all key stakeholders to ensure total alignment of the services provided.Escalate any issues, including H&S, to the Client & Site Managers.Management Responsibilities This person will have task setting (but not line management) responsibility for the 6x Floor Champions working across the client floor.Experience & Qualifications CTS (Certified Technology Specialist) or specific manufacturer certifications (e.g., Crestron, Extron).2 years minimum experience in a similar role.1 year minimum experience of direct customer service provision.Understanding of facilities management services.Title: Workplace Facilities Technician
Salary: up to €40,000 DOE
Holiday: 20 days plus bank holidays

Employment: Employed by Pareto FM but wholly allocated to client site
