Yard Supervisor

We are working with a Building Wholesalers who is a trusted supplier of high-quality construction materials, serving Louth and surrounding areas.
They specialise in providing builders, contractors, and DIY enthusiasts with a wide range of top-tier products, including timber, insulation, plumbing supplies, and more.
We are recruiting for an experienced Yard Supervisor to join their team.
Key Responsibilities: Lead and supervise yard operations and staff.
Provide exceptional customer service tailored to individual needs.
Manage stock, ensuring appropriate levels and quality.
Coordinate and assist with deliveries, customer collections, and daily operations, including forklift tasks.
Maintain a safe, clean, and well-organized yard in compliance with Health and Safety policies.

Solid knowledge of building materials and their applications.
Proven experience in supervising or managing a team with strong leadership skills.
Ability to prioritize tasks and adapt to business needs.
Thrive under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Excellent organizational, teamwork, and communication skills (verbal and written).
Proficient in IT, including Microsoft Office.
