Post Summary:The purpose of this role is managing the College's Guest Rooms and Chief Steward House Rooms within the Accommodation and Commercial Property Office, dealing with both external guests and internal staff looking to host guests.
This role deals with a large volume of queries a day with over 100 guests a month.
As a customer facing role the role holder is responsible for the end-to-end guest experience with Trinity College from their initial booking queries, check-in and throughout their stay at the college to final payment.
The role holder is responsible for the management of the end-to-end booking process including reservations, payments and customer service.
This includes all communication with the guests or their Trinity staff 'hosts'.
The role holder is also responsible for processing all payments from guests and for completing the accrual of revenue including the management of late payments by working closely with the Finance Department on monthly reporting or revenue.
As the lead finance role within the Accommodation and Commercial Property Office the role also includes responsibilities for management of the procurement process within the Office, which includes ordering goods and services required by the Accommodation Office and Commercial Property and also management of the payment of suppliers, processing payments in excess of €330k a month.
Post status: Permanent Hours of Post: 35 hours per week Salary: This appointment will be made on the Administrative 3 Salary Scale (€45,410 - €56,947 per annum) at a point in line with current Government pay policy.
