OverviewWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accounting Program Manager to join our finance team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing accounting programs, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and driving continuous improvement in accounting processes.
This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication and collaboration skills and a strong understanding of US GAAP and local statutory reporting, particurlarly ASC606.
A key focus of this role will be on process optimization and transformation to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

They are accountable to ensure proper revenue recognition in accordance with ASC 606, collaborate and build strong relationships with key stakeholders and create solutions which enable complex deals.This position requires a driven self-starter, capable of effectively prioritizing and operating with a high degree of ambiguity in a fast-paced and changing environment.This role is heavy on communication skills that create clarity and drive seamless stakeholder engagement to support Microsoft's commercial strategy and deliver revenue results aligned to Microsoft compliance and technical accounting policies.Microsoft's mission is to empower every person and every organization on the planet to achieve more.

QualificationsRequired/Minimum QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Business, Accounting/Finance, or related field AND extensive accounting or finance experienceOR equivalent experience.Technical knowledge of US GAAP accounting.Preferred QualificationsTechnical knowledge of ASC 606.Experience working within Finance in a complex organization, tech industry preferred.Experience with process optimization.Microsoft is an equal opportunity employer.
