We are delighted to be working with our Cork City based client who are seeking a dedicated Accounts Assistant to join their finance team, reporting directly to the Group Accounts Manager. The ideal candidate will establish strong working relationships with both office and site staff to fully understand business needs and deliver effective support. Responsibilities: Managing Subcontractor Payments. Handling RCT Notifications. Entering Invoices/Certs/Payments into the EVision accounting system. Preparing excel summaries of payments. Preparing Quarterly RCT Returns. Conducting Bank Reconciliations. Raising Sales Invoices. Reconciling Credit Card transactions. Assisting with Job Cost Reporting. Performing general ad-hoc duties as required Key Skills & Experience: 3-5 years of relevant experience. Familiarity with EVision is an advantage. Accounting Technician qualification is preferred but not essential. Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook. Strong analytical, problem-solving skills, and keen attention to detail. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team. Highly organised with the ability to multitask effectively. Proven ability to build and maintain strong working relationships across various teams.
