Accounts Assistant (Part-Time)

Our client, a fast growing Irish business is seeking an Accounts Assistant to join their finance team on a permanent basis based in Clonee. This is an excellent role for an experienced Accounts Assistant or Part Qualified Accountant who will gain a thorough understanding of the business with the opportunity to grow.

Salary: €30k-€40k pro rata
RESPONSIBILITIESAccounts receivable duties including preparing customer invoices, processing and monitoring incoming payments, dealing with customer queries etc.Accounts payable duties including matching invoices to accruals, supplier reconciliations, monthly payment run, dealing with supplier queries etc.Reconciling bank, debtors, and creditorsAssist in month-end closePreparation of annual audit filesPosting all relevant journalsPreparation of VAT returnsAd hoc duties on requestREQUIREMENTSMinimum 2 years of accounting experienceGood initiative and strong attention to detailWillingness to perform varied finance duties as required
