Job Description Sky Aero Management Limited (SKY Leasing or the Company) (see for more detail), is a full-service aircraft leasing and Asset Management company with global operations aiming to build a portfolio of young mid-life narrowbody and widebody commercial aircraft.
SKY Leasing partners with institutional equity to originate and manage portfolios of aircraft.
Since its inception in 2019 it has originated almost $5bn of aircraft acquisitions, with a strong pipeline of committed purchases for 2024.
The co-founders of SKY Leasing are Austin Wiley, CEO and Richard (Rich) Wiley, Chairman.
The corporate mission of SKY Leasing and its affiliates is to be a leading capital provider to airlines globally for leasing transactions.
Rich Wiley has also co-founded several other leading lessors including Pegasus Aviation Finance Company (PAFCO), which was established in 2004 and sold to AWAS in 2006, and Jackson Square Aviation (JSA), which was established in 2010 and sold to Mitsubishi UFJ Lease & Finance Company (MUL) in 2012.
Richard Wiley was the Chief Executive Officer of JSA post-MUL acquisition until March 2015.
The SKY Leasing management team and its affiliates have developed extensive relationships in the global airline community by leasing aircraft to over 100 airline customers globally and executing more than 600 aircraft transactions valued at over $20 billion.
The Role The position reports into the Accounts Payable Manager and will work closely with various departments .
The key responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to: Objectives of this Role Support the company in optimising our financial transactions and systems Strengthen and grow relationships with vendors and suppliers through timely payment Assist in streamlining and improving the accounts payable process Exercise integrity and confidentiality in financial reporting Comply with all relevant financial requirements Daily, Weekly and Monthly Responsibilities Review invoices for appropriate documentation and ensure appropriate approval obtained Perform invoice and general ledger data entry Assemble invoices and assist AP Manager to prepare weekly payment run as required Performance of relevant reconciliations, vendors and accounting Assist Finance Department as needed Post employee expenses to the vendor ledger from Concur import Tracking of expenses in line with budget Vendor accruals on a quarterly basis Monthly reporting on management metrics Skills and Qualifications Understanding basic principles of finance, accounting, and bookkeeping Superb time management and detail with ability to prioritise and organise Proficiency with Microsoft Office Ability to keep company and partner confidences Preferred Qualifications Strong mathematical skills 3+ years prior experience in accounts payable (or accounts receivable) Experience with accounting software, preferably Business Central 365 and Continia invoice management software.
