We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for an Accounts Payable Team Lead who will lead the Accounts Payable team.

Key Accountabilities:          Maintain and develop existing team metrics.
         Implement new metrics/KPIs to monitor and manage AP processing targets.
         Allocating and reviewing the distribution of workload fairly within the AP team.
         Work cross functionally with various teams to revolve any outstanding issues.
         Ensure timely and accurate AP processing activities.
         Manage supplier relationships from an AP perspective.
         Ensure creditor reconciliations process is implemented.
         Manage creditor reconciliation process.
         Ensure document management process is in place and adhered to.
         Act as point of escalation for internal and external stakeholders.
         Oversee the Finance team Time Management System and approval of clocks and annual leave          Oversee team management software implementation (Touchpoint)          Participate in other ad hoc projects from an Accounts Payable perspective as required.
  Requirements:          Strong background in AP with a minimum of 3 years proven experience leading and managing an Accounts Payable function within a fast-paced organisation.
         Strong people leadership experience.
         Ability to oversee a team processing a high volume of purchase orders.
         Advanced experience in EDI (Electronic Data Interchange)          Team player who is, driven, adaptable, dynamic, and manages a team with confidence and enthusiasm.
         Passionate about driving continuous improvement and process improvement.
         It is a must that the individual is highly organised with the ability to manage multiple activities simultaneously to accomplish goals.
         Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office suite, in data extraction and the ability to run reports.
Strong knowledge of excel and proficiency with ERP software is required (AX experience a distinct advantage),          A person with a hard-working ethos who is disciplined and reliable in executing company processes and strategies.
         Is flexible, maintains effectiveness by adjusting fluidly to meet a goal and/or changing circumstances.
         A positive, can-do attitude and dedicated to going above and beyond.
