Agri Advisor

We are looking for an Agri Advisor to join our busy team in Dromalour, Kanturk.
  Key Responsibilities: Your role as Agri Advisor will involve working within the Agribusiness in areas including point of sale system, e-procurement, milk management and product master administration.
The role involves participation with the shops, yards, and transport across the North Cork Creameries Branch network.
You will also be participating in promotion and sales of Agri inputs to all our milk suppliers and completing farm calls and sales when required.
You will also be involved in liaising and dealing with farmers at the shop counter, phone and farm gate level.  Managing the system and ensuring all milk suppliers are certified up to our standard, closing out audits with milk suppliers daily and sending info and letters to ensure compliance at farm level are all duties associated with the role.
    Successful candidate: Degree in an Agriculture related course Strong self-starter who is flexible and adaptive with an enthusiastic approach Farm advisory experience Strong, intuitive communication skills Ability to build effective relationships with suppliers Knowledge of various national programmes and bodies i.e.
Teagasc, AHI, DSI, ICBF etc & milk quality & regulatory requirements Strives for continuous improvement with excellent organisational skills
