Location/Office Policy: Central Park - Hybrid 2 days per week.

What is the Role: The Service Management Service Engineering team, design, build and manage solutions supporting IT Service Management processes and their underpinning technologies.
The Service Engineering team drive the digitisation of processes, automation of user activities and simplification of tool usage for all Service Management users.
The suitable candidate will provide technical leadership for the Service Engineering team.
They will ensure quality criteria are adhered to for all the project deliverables.
They will train/mentors' junior staff, review other colleague's technical deliverables, provide feedback to colleagues and team with a focus on succession planning and knowledge management.
They will contribute and help evolve the engineering landscape through the adoption of new tools and technologies, gain consensus from peers for methodology changes and adoption.
Key accountabilities: Make decisions on solutions for complex problem statements.
Build Partnerships and work collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives.
Provide thought leadership and direction while managing, reviewing, and conducting the day-to-day work in data insights and analytics.
Apply domain knowledge to develop solutions to problems.
Build strong customer relationships and delivering customer-centric solutions.
What You Will Bring; Has a minimum of 2-5 years' experience working in an IT role with experience leading small and large teams and across a wide range of technologies.
Has a deep working understanding of data structures, data ETL, API's and automation from Data Triggers.
Has a good working understanding of tools supporting data capture and manipulation (e.g.
Java, API (postman / swagger), ETL (Pentaho Spoon, R), BMC Remedy developer, BMC DWPA etc.)
Is a thought leader for the Service & Operations domain and can lead this domain to meet current and future Engineering use cases.

Key Capabilities Technical Knowledge - Has a good working understanding of tools supporting data capture and manipulation (e.g.
Java, API (postman / swagger), ETL (Pentaho Spoon, R), Power BI, BMC Remedy etc.)
Troubleshoot - Ability to identify, diagnose and resolve issues.
Understanding importance of timely escalation as required.
KPI Management - Understand KPI concepts and be able to develop and implement KPI Management to support Technology.
Collaborates - Building Partnerships and working collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives.
Instils Trust - Gaining the confidence and trust of others through honesty, integrity, and authenticity.
