Key Responsibilities: Conduct thorough pre-operative assessments to evaluate patient suitability for anaesthesia.
Develop and implement individualised anaesthesia plans, selecting appropriate techniques and medications.
Administer anaesthesia safely and effectively, monitoring patient vital signs and responding to any complications.
Provide post-operative care, including pain management and recovery monitoring.
Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
Collaborate effectively with dental colleagues to ensure seamless patient care.
Participate in continuing professional development activities to stay abreast of advancements in anaesthesia.
Qualifications and Skills: Medical degree with specialization in anaesthesia.
MCAI or equivalent is required.
Hold active Irish Medical Council Registration or in the process.
Minimum 3 years experience in Anaesthesia with at least 1 year at registrar level.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Strong commitment to patient safety and quality care.
