Position Description Ancillary Services is a key Team within the Requestion to Pay process.
The Ancillary Services Team lead will be responsible for a team managing and processing several key payment types and channels including the payment and processing of tax returns, the administration of the Corporate Procurement Card program and the one-time vendor (OTV) payment channel. The team also looks after customs and freight queries and invoice processing and ensuring that up-to-date policies and procedures for the above activities are maintained. The role will also require you to work with internal and external stakeholders on query resolution, leading projects achieving efficiencies and adapting to the changing needs of the business.
Key Responsibilities Manage the Ancillary Services team to ensure best practice service is provided to our ESB customers. Ensure timely and accurate Tax Returns and payments are completed for Revenue and HMRC. Ensure completion of EU Intrastat reports. Management and administration of the Corporate Procurement Card program including the management of relationship with the Bank providing this service. Manage the One Time Vendor (OTV) payment channel and approval of payments as required. Manage the relationship with ESB Customs & Freight service providers including addressing queries and issues on behalf of ESB Business units. Leading and managing change initiatives for the team. Managing relationships and query resolution for internal and external customers. Preparation and management of monthly KPI's Maintaining up to date policies and procedures. Preparation and communication of business plan. Managing team recruitment, development, training and retention Experience and Qualifications Experience of SAP
ESB's procurement and invoice processing procedures, VAT and Withholding Taxes and Customs & Freight processes Exceptional Interpersonal Skills Strong numerical and analytical capability Working knowledge of the application of Vat Ability to handle high volume of work efficiently and effectively. Ability to work to tight deadlines whilst maintaining accuracy. Proficient knowledge of MS Office Good communication and presentation skills Professional qualification would be an advantage. Location This position will be based in Waterford in line with ESB's Smarter Working Policy.
