We are now looking for an Apprentice Mechanical Automation and Maintenance Fitter to join our Engineering team.

The Role As an Apprentice Mechanical Automation and Maintenance Fitter, youll gain practical experience while learning how to keep our production equipment running smoothly.
This is a four-year apprenticeship thats all about teaching you the skills to become a fully qualified MAMF technician!
Working alongside our experienced team, youll be trained in the maintenance and troubleshooting of essential equipment like CIP systems, HVAC units, autoclaves and more.
From day one, you'll be involved in keeping our production processes in top shape!
What you'll learn and do: - Master Maintenance and Repair: Youll learn how to maintain, repair and troubleshoot a wide range of mechanical devices that keep our production going strong.
- Practical Training: Install, modify and calibrate mechanical systems with the guidance of experienced technicians.
You'll play an important role in upgrades and repairs.
- Problem Solving: Learn how to troubleshoot mechanical control systems and help investigate and report system failures.
- Safety First: You'll follow detailed maintenance procedures while contributing to keeping our workspace safe and compliant.
About You To be considered as an Apprentice Mechanical Automation and Maintenance Fitter, you will need: - At least Grade D in five subjects in the Department of Education & Skills Junior Certificate Examination or an approved equivalent, or the successful completion of an approved Pre-Apprenticeship course or three years work experience gained over sixteen years of age in a relevant designated industrial activity - A keen interest in manufacturing, advanced manufacturing and fabrication Other organisations may call this role Mechanical Maintenance Apprentice, Automation and Maintenance Trainee, Apprentice Mechanical Fitter, Junior Maintenance Technician, Mechanical Systems Apprentice, Maintenance Engineering Apprentice, or Apprentice Production Maintenance Technician.
