Area Sales Representative

We are seeking an experienced Regional Sales Representative to join an indigenous organisation based on the South side of Cork City on a full-time, permanent basis. This position will be 60% office-based and 40% on the road covering the Munster territory and will be responsible for achieving and exceeding sales targets, managing customer relationships, and new business development. Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve and exceed sales targets within the relevant region in conjunction with the Sales Manager.Identify and pursue new business opportunities while maintaining and nurturing existing customer relationships and portfolio.Conduct regular sales visits to prospective and existing clients to promote company products and services.Monitor sales performance and activity levels to provide accurate and timely sales forecasts, reports, and updates to the sales management team.Collaborate with internal teams, including customer service, marketing, and product development, to ensure customer satisfaction and drive continuous improvement.Stay informed about industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth and innovation.Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to expand brand awareness and generate leads.Requirements: 3-5 years field sales experience is essential, preferably in the packaging or related industry, but not essential.Proven track record of growing existing business and the identification and development of new opportunities.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and negotiate effectively with customers.Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities independently.Self-motivated and results-driven, with a proactive approach to achieving sales targets and driving business growth.Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the relevant region as required.For a confidential discussion and more information on the role, please contact Megan O'Doherty ****** 021-4911066
