Assistant Accountant - Contract - Hybrid

My client is looking to hire an Assistant Accountant to join their team. This is a great role to gain experience in the financial service sector and offers hybrid working.
Duties: Prepare reconciliations for purchase/sales transactions across all funds.Assist in managing expenses, including budgeting, reviewing accruals, processing payments, and other related tasks.Financial Reporting: Support the review of annual and semi-annual financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with disclosure requirements. Work with external auditors to facilitate the audit process.Assist the CFO with various projects, including the preparation of periodic reports and financial analysis.Skills: Advanced proficiency in MS Excel.Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.Enthusiastic, self-motivated, and eager to learn.Preferably 2 years of experience in financial services.
