Assistant Financial Controller

My client, the largest farmer owned cattle breeding co-op in the Republic of Ireland, is looking for an Assistant Financial Controller to join their team.
This is a newly created role.
It's a permanent opportunity, full time in office, 5 days a week.
Some of your main responsibilities will include: *Assist with preparation of monthly/quarterly management accounts for Group companies *Assist with preparation of budgets, forecasts, cash flows in conjunction with senior management.
*Assist in preparation of Annual Audit File for auditors *Co-ordinate and manage Month End processes and running of monthly output billing files and customer statements *Prepare monthly bank reconciliations *Maintain fixed asset register *Responsible for Motor Fleet and ensuring all vehicles in Tax & current Doe *Oversee monthly Contract payments and accounts payable run monthly *Provide cover for Accounts payable and accounts receivable *Manage stocks, review of moving items and reconciliation of all incoming stocks *Preparation of Quarterly Sales stats reporting pack In order to be successful, you will be and have: *Qualified Accountant (ACCA,ACA,CIMA) *Strong analytical skills *Intermediate/Advanced MS Excel *Good communication and interpersonal skills *Strong Team Player *Proven ability to adapt/ learn new tasks and systems quickly *Works well to tight deadlines *Knowledge of the Agri-sector an advantage *Strong verbal and written communication skills The successful candidate will report to the Finance Controller.
