To carry out spraying, mowing and other greenkeeping tasks To supervise the team to ensure the correct standards are achieved.
To ensure staff follow standard operating procedures and safety guidelines.
To complete treatment records and work records.
Communicating effectively to all team members in the venue and golfers on the course.
Keep accurate and complete records of agronomy plan and its implementation.
 Manage the use of resources for the implementation of the agronomic plan.
Train equipment operators on the operation and care of mowing and other equipment.
Supervise chemical and fertilizer applications and/or operate and calibrate pesticide and fertilizer application equipment.
Supervise and participate in the operation and maintenance of pumps, and in the maintenance of irrigation and drainage systems.
Typical Maintenance Tasks Assist with preparing the course for daily play.
Bunker maintenance, strimming, edging and weeding Cut and trim golf course greens, tees, fairways and roughs and approaches.
Moving of holes on the greens.
General tidy up of grounds i.e.
leaf blowing Pruning and maintenance of shrubs and trees Administration and control of pesticides, herbicides and fungicides Key Skills and Experience Ability to work in a variety of weather conditions.
Ability to communicate effectively with the team and management.
Work on own initiative.
Spraying Certificates desirable.
Greenkeeping qualifications.
Must have a minimum of three years' experience on golf course and/ or a certificate in greenkeeping.
Must have own method of transport
