We're looking for a motivated, organized, and detail-oriented Assistant Manager to join our team and help ensure smooth daily operations.
Job Description: As the Dental Practice Assistant Manager , you will support the Practice Manager and the front of house team to ensure the efficient operation of the clinic.
You will play a key role in maintaining the highest levels of patient satisfaction and ensuring the administrative functions of the practice run smoothly.
Key Responsibilities: Assist in the day-to-day management of the dental practice, including appointment scheduling, patient flow, and staff coordination.
Oversee front of house operations, including patient reception, billing, and insurance claims.
Supervise and support front of house team.
Making sure recalls appointments are being booked accordingly.
Dealing with patients queries and complaints.
Handle patient inquiries, complaints, and concerns in a professional and timely manner.
Ensure compliance with dental practice regulations, health & safety standards, and infection control protocols.
Assist in financial reporting, including monitoring budgets, processing payments, and managing accounts.
Contribute to staff training and development, ensuring all team members are well-supported.
Support Practice Manager in day to day tasks.
Qualifications: Minimum of 2 years' experience in a dental office, with 1 year in a supervisory or management role.
Knowledge of dental software systems (e.g., Exact or similar).
Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize effectively.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well in a team.
Familiarity with insurance billing, patient scheduling, and customer service best practices.
Ability to solve problems independently and handle sensitive patient information confidentially.
