Assistant Night Manager – Clayton Hotel Dublin Airport We have a fantastic new vacancy for an Assistant Night Manager in the excellent Clayton Hotel Dublin Airport. Please note the hours of this position are 10:30pm to 7am, 5 days per week. Applicants must be eligible to work these hours.
Objective of Role: Through the consistent delivery of the highest standards, promote a professional and positive image to all of our guests and contribute to the hotel's targets.
Key Duties and Responsibilities: Assist the Night Manager with operations of the Nights team. Ensure operations are carried out in line with department and hotel standards while providing quality service to our guests in accordance with statutory and health and safety requirements. Provide all guests with a genuine, warm, friendly, courteous welcome on arrival and during their stay. Anticipate guests' needs whenever possible to enhance quality service and guest satisfaction. Carry out departmental standards in accordance with the SOP Manual. Maintain the highest possible standard of personal hygiene, dress, appearance, body language, and conduct. Report all accidents, incidents, and suspicious occurrences to the relevant personnel and assist in providing all relevant backup. Familiarize and adhere to all hotel rules and regulations, specifically regarding fire procedures, health and safety, and security regulations. Carry out the Night Audit. Assist in positively promoting sales within the department and maximize every sales opportunity. Oversee the standard of meeting rooms for the next business day. Assist in controlling departmental costs within the standards set by the departmental manager. Ensure the security of cash, stock, and equipment while adhering to all agreed departmental/hotel procedures. Requirements: 6 - 12 months experience in a similar role. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to oversee and delegate work to others. A warm, friendly, and approachable personality when dealing with fellow staff and guests.
