This Assistant Professor in Electronic and Electrical Engineering will be appointed to contribute to teaching, research and administrative activities in the Discipline of Electronic and Electrical Engineering within the School of Engineering.
The post holder will complement the existing staff in the wider Departmental and School areas of Circuits and Systems, Digital Communication, Digital Media Signal Processing, Bioengineering, Power Management and Control.Increasingly the research groups in the Department and the School are interdisciplinary.
In this recruitment call we are interested in growing our team in Chip Design in the context of any of AI and Machine Learning, VLSI Design Automation, SoC and hardware for media, automotive or cyberphysical applications, Toolchains for SoC development and Low Power Design.
The successful applicant will deliver modules at both the undergraduate and taught MSc level, and contribute to the growth of the E3 programme across the Faculty.
Post Status Tenure Track - This position is Tenure Track position which is 5-years in the first instance, permanency is subject to satisfying the tenure requirements.
