The successful candidate will contribute to teaching, research, and supervision duties across the School, and will have an active programme of research in geography education that will contribute to the international profile of the School.
The post of Assistant Professor in Sustainability and Geography Education is essential for the continued development of teaching, research, and supervision within an interdisciplinary approach in the School of Education.
The successful candidate will co-ordinate the PME in Geography Education.
They will teach and supervise on this course and contribute to the School's postgraduate taught and research programmes including supervision at masters and doctoral levels.
The post-holder will undertake research, knowledge generation and dissemination in the field of Sustainability and Geography Education.
Post status: 5 Year Fixed Term, Tenure Track Hours of Post: Hours of work for academic staff are those as prescribed under Public Service Agreements.
