Your Impact: As a Consultant, you will act as a primary point of contact for implementing customers' requests to add new trading partners, document types, and connection types. You will learn how to create/update technical specifications and maps using OpenText translation software, carry out integration tasks to deploy maps to pre-production and production environments, and set up Trading Partner connectivity.
What the role offers: Interact with customers to understand their business requirements and to develop and maintain good customer relations.Defining and developing data integrations including planning, documentation, implementation, testing, troubleshooting, and deploying customer connections with trading partners.Create test case scenarios and write expected output according to specifications.Perform functional testing for each field/segment with change.Investigate and conduct root-cause-analysis for issues/defects raised by clients during client testing.Deliver project status updates to clients, project managers, and counterparts as necessary.What you will need to succeed: BSc in Computer Science/other technical discipline or equivalent experience.Knowledge of programming and experience e.g., Java, C#, C++, etc.Strong Customer focus, customer satisfaction oriented.Quick learner and able to retain a broad range of information in a rapid and complex technical environment.Excellent written and oral communication skills.Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and be able to work well alone.Knowledge of EDI standards (EDIFACT, TRADACOMS, X12, VDA, XML), and B2B integration.Knowledge of EDI Mapping processes and Map Specifications.Knowledge of communications standards such as ftp, AS2, and https.One Last Thing: OpenText is more than just a corporation, it's a global community where trust is foundational, the bar is raised, and outcomes are owned.
