As a Senior Business Partner you will be supporting business growth, program management, planning, governance and process improvement.
The successful candidate will report to the VP of Business Development, Emisar.
We are looking for people who can collaborate cross-functionally with various business and data analytics teams, demonstrate exceptional attention to detail, have proven business growth experience and the ability to manage multiple competing business projects at one time.
Working Schedule: Careers with Optum offer flexible work arrangements and individuals who live and work in the Republic of Ireland will have the opportunity to split their monthly work hours between our Dublin office and telecommuting from a home-based office in a hybrid work model. Primary Responsibilities of the Associate Director, Business Development: Apply commercial acumen to evaluate new opportunities, supporting business growthBuild pipeline of high-ROI, high-growth opportunitiesCreate and maintain a roadmap of opportunities and a pipeline of project initiativesPrioritize projects based on feasibility and impactCreate and articulate business cases for highest impact opportunitiesDevelop recommendations to senior executives based on analyses to identify the highest value opportunities to pursueSupport initiatives spanning growth strategy, analytics strategy and operational excellenceLead program management efforts, ensuring project success and alignment with business growth objectivesMonitor and report on key business metrics, providing strategic insights to senior leadershipImplement governance and process improvements to optimize cross functional operationsCollaborate with data, technical, insights and analytics teams to enhance data-driven project outcomesDevelop cross-Optum and UHG relationships to develop new opportunitiesDevelop communication channels and ensure feedback loopsSupport target operating model refinement as the organization scalesYou will be rewarded and recognised for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role, as well as providing development for other roles you may be interested in. Required Qualifications of the Associate Director, Business Development: Degree Qualified (BA, BS) in relevant business field (economics, business, finance) or equivalent experienceCommercial awareness and ability to influence growth strategiesExperience in a business strategy or business planning functionProven experience in program management, governance, change management and process improvementProven ability to work collaboratively across a matrix environmentExperience working with technology and data teams with a strong analytical approach to problem solvingAbility to work within a changing environment or prior working experience in a start-up environmentAttention to detail and organizational skillsPreferred Qualifications: Advanced degree (e.g.
MBA) or Master's Degree equivalentFinancial background/ability to perform quantitative analysisExperience in creating and using models to evaluate the quantitative impact of business decisionsPrior working experience in a consulting/advisory firmExperience in managed health care, pharmacy benefit management, consulting or technologyExperience in Product Management or AnalyticsPlease note you must currently be eligible to work and remain indefinitely without any restrictions in the country to which you are making an application.
