About the Role: Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Audio Visual Engineer to join their dynamic team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, installation, and maintenance of advanced audio visual systems, helping to enhance the organisation's communication and presentation capabilities.

Key Responsibilities: System Design: Collaborate with clients and internal teams to understand audio visual requirements.
Develop comprehensive audio visual system designs that align with project goals and specifications.
Stay informed about industry trends and emerging technologies to recommend innovative solutions.
Installation and Integration: Lead or assist in the installation, configuration, and integration of audio visual systems.
Ensure all equipment is set up and calibrated for optimal performance.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during installation and integration.
Maintenance and Support: Conduct regular maintenance checks on audio visual systems to ensure reliability and performance.
Provide prompt technical support to end-users, resolving any issues quickly and effectively.
Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for audio visual equipment.
Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, facilities, and event planning, to ensure seamless integration of audio visual systems.
Communicate effectively with clients to fully understand their needs and expectations.
Documentation: Create detailed documentation for all audio visual systems, including wiring diagrams, configurations, and user manuals.
Maintain accurate records of equipment inventory and configurations.
Training: Conduct training sessions for end-users to familiarise them with audio visual equipment and software.
Stay up to date with new features and functionalities, providing training updates as necessary.
Qualifications and Experience: Proven experience as an Audio Visual Engineer or in a similar role.
Strong knowledge of audio visual technologies, including video conferencing systems, sound systems, and projection systems.
Proficiency in configuring and troubleshooting audio visual equipment and software.
Familiarity with industry standards and best practices.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Full driving licence required.
Desirable Skills: Experience as a Senior Engineer or in IT engineering roles.
