Our clients are seeking a Manager to join their external Audit team in Dublin. This role involves managing a portfolio of audit clients, assisting Partners, and occasionally engaging in special assignments.
Key Responsibilities Provide efficient and proactive client service, exceeding expectations.Liaise with Partners and staff, keeping all parties updated.Handle audit work, set budgets, and be aware of commercial impacts on clients' businesses.Arrange timetables, book staff, plan, review, and complete audits.Stay updated on compliance developments and their impacts on clients.Manage client billing.Staff Management Organize staff, set clear expectations, provide training, and give feedback.Ensure assessment forms are completed and feedback is provided.Address any issues with junior staff.Ensure personal receipt of appropriate training.Business Development Prepare proposals for new work.Attend marketing events and client meetings.Present at seminars and develop personal contacts.Identify and develop opportunities with current clients.Qualifications Experience with entrepreneurial, OMB, and SME clients.Knowledge of accounting and auditing standards.Strong communication and organizational skills.Experience in managing and motivating staff.Ability to monitor costs against budget.Benefits Private medical insuranceLife assurancePension contributionGenerous holiday packageShared parental leaveRobert Walters Operations Limited is an employment business and employment agency and welcomes applications from all candidates.
