Our client, a top 10 accounting practice in Ireland, is looking for an Audit Senior to join their team. This role has come about because of significant growth within their practice and internal progression.

This role will be based from their office in Dublin City Centre. Main Responsibilities of Audit Senior: Conduct audit fieldwork and execute planned substantive and analytical audit procedures, typically on-site at client premises.Assist in planning and completing audit assignments, ensuring that audit files have the necessary and sufficient documentation.Prepare statutory financial statements from client data, identifying high-level risk areas or concerns for the Partner/Manager.Plan the execution and finalisation of audit assignments for Partner/Manager review.Deliver high-quality auditing services to our clients.Collaborate with the team to set engagement objectives and an audit strategy that aligns with professional standards and adequately addresses risk.Build and maintain proactive relationships with audit clients, ensuring they are well-informed and satisfied throughout the year, not just during the audit process.Research and resolve technical queries from clients.Prepare and review financial statements in full compliance with Irish GAAP.Ensure the successful completion of audit engagements.Act as a mentor to junior audit team members.Key experience required for Audit Senior: Fully qualified with ACA or ACCA qualifications.At least 3 years of experience working in practice.A passion for providing the best client experience.Excellent attention to detail and strong technical skills.Knowledge of business trends and emerging technical and industry developments.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Effective and motivated team player.Strong leadership skills with the ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines.Self-starter with the ability to critically analyse and assess information.If you would like a confidential discussion and more information on this Audit Senior role, contact:
