Bank Ward Attendants The Mater Private Hospital are seeking to recruit Casual Ward Attendantsto join our busy multi-disciplinary team. We are looking for enthusiastic, compassionate individuals with an interest in a career in Healthcare. Key responsibilities of the role in the hospital: Orientate patients to the general ward to include Nurses Station, Clinical Nurse Managers office, general facilities etc. Provide patients with essential information regarding hospital facilities and services. Attend to patients needs and offer guidance on the use of remote controls, call bells and lighting systems. Accompanies patients mobilising and assist patients with personal care as supervised by RGN. Carry out appropriate duties that may be assigned from time to time by the Clinical Nurse Manager. Requirements for the above post: Good standard of education Excellent interpersonal skills Ability to work as part of a team Awareness/sensitivity toward patient needs Discretion & Ability to use initiative Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multi-task.
