Basic Grade Psychologist

Basic Grade Psychologist - Specified Purpose (Maternity Leave) The successful candidate will be a passionate and effective team worker with excellent analytical, diagnostic and therapy skills, highly motivated, organised, and efficient and committed to providing the highest quality evidenced based mental health care to clients attending the Saint John of God Hospital.

Candidates must be: Hold a post graduate qualification in Clinical/Counselling Psychology and meet the Psychological Society of Ireland guidelines for employment as Psychologist in the Irish Health Services. Provide evidence of qualification and experience from Dept.
of Health and Children. Demonstrate experience of working in Adult Mental Health, ideally in an acute mental health hospital, with experience of delivering DBT, CFT and CBT interventions to individuals and groups.
