Introduction This is a continuous examination. The examination consists of an ongoing review of candidates' applications and supplemental questionnaires to verify possession of minimum qualifications. Candidates who possess the minimum qualifications will be placed on the eligible list based on an evaluation of education, training, and experience. The eligible list resulting from this recruitment may be used to fill future vacancies within the next year.
Qualified bilingual persons who speak English and are fluent in languages such as Spanish, Chinese, Vietnamese, and others are especially encouraged to apply. There is additional biweekly compensation for bilingual positions. Qualified candidates may be tested to demonstrate language proficiency.

THE HEALTH CARE SERVICES AGENCY
The Health Care Services Agency administers programs in Behavioral Health, Public Health, Environmental Health, and Agency Administration/Indigent Health, aiming to provide integrated health care services.
THE POSITION
Under close supervision, the role involves providing psychiatric clinical and case management services, conducting evaluations and assessments, and performing other relevant duties. The Behavioral Health Clinician I/II positions report to a Behavioral Health Clinical Supervisor or Manager.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Education: A Master's degree in social work, marriage and family therapy, clinical psychology, or a closely related field.
License/Registration: Valid registration as an Associate Social Worker, Associate Marriage and Family Therapist, or similar.
Special Requirements: Compliance with HIPAA and Medicare regulations, including obtaining a National Provider Identifier (NPI) number before employment.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS Knowledge of current theories and practices for services to clients with serious behavioral health issues, psychological diagnostic methods, and community resources related to behavioral health care.
EXAMINATION COMPONENTS The examination will consist of a review of applications and supplemental questionnaires to verify minimum qualifications.
