Our client, a leading independent property and construction company, is currently recruiting for a temporary Bid Manager to join the team.
This full-time role would be ideally suited to an individual with strong bid co-ordination experience as they will be responsible for managing the bid team while overseeing opportunities from identification right through to contract renewals.
Duties:Oversee the end-to-end bid processManage the bid team and the level of input required from key stakeholders, typically engaging with the Commercial, Operations, Maintenance, Projects, and Engineering teamsWork with the relevant departments to develop a clear strategy for each bidDevelop a timeline for all bid works, taking ownership of time management and achieving key milestones for the whole teamHighlight the bid deliverables and present them to your colleagues while setting a clear timeline for the return of information from the relevant partiesUnderstand and resolve complex technical, strategic, and business issuesOversee the process of gathering information, writing tender responses, and choosing the most effective corporate literature to attachCompile the written proposal in terms of both content and presentation, including providing guidance around the executive summaryEngage with the Commercial team to ensure that all services and costs are included in the final priceTrack and manage the level of potential risk throughout the bid processEnsure that tenders are submitted on time in a compliant and commercially sound fashion in a professional mannerCo-ordinate and plan presentations where required as part of the tender submissionLiaise with the relevant teams to compile case studies of completed worksDrive continuous improvement through post-tender reviewsSkills and Knowledge Requirements:An academic qualification is desirableMinimum of 3 years' experience in a similar environmentProven experience in the tender process and the management of bid submissionsAbility to collate information to align with the bids requirements while handling the pressure of demanding and concurrent projectsMust possess exceptional time management and organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and complete a wide range of tasksHighly proficient level of IT literacy to include Microsoft Office, Adobe, InDesign, etc.Reach out to Shauna today on 01 9476359 or 087 755 6856 or email your CV to ******
