As a Cloud Support Engineer, you will act as the 'Cloud Ambassador' across all the cloud products, arming our customers with required tools & tactics to get the most out of their Product and Support investment.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS Ability to communicate effectively in English and Spanish (written and spoken).Experience with Hadoop ecosystems, support and troubleshooting (Any two applications: Apache Spark, Apache Hive, Presto, Map-Reduce, Zookeeper, HBASE, HDFS and Pig) and a good depth of understanding of ETL (Extract, Transform, Load); creating ETL pipelines to extract and ingest data into data lake/warehouse with simple to medium complexity transformations and troubleshooting ETL job issues.Good understanding of System Administration and troubleshooting with Linux (Ubuntu, CentOS, RedHat) and/or Microsoft Windows Server and associated technologies (Active Directory) and a good understanding of Networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, OSI model, routing, switching, firewalls, LAN/WAN, traceroute, iperf, dig, cURL or related). PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Understanding of cloud computing concepts and/or experience with any cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).Experience scripting or developing in one or more of the following languages: UNIX Shell, Python, R, Ruby, GO, Java, .NET (C#), JavaScript.Bachelor's degree in Information Science / Information Technology, Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field OR equivalent experience in a technical position.
